Stc’s contribution in 2Africa cable is an important step for digital transformation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and expansion in Africa. The 2Africa Cable will be integrated with MENA Gateway (MG1). Customers will be able to access stc extensive international content and extend their regional connectivity through stc terrestrial geo-mesh network that extends to all neighboring countries. This will play a significant role in enhancing stc’s international network capabilities, whilst also positioning stc as a leading regional digital player. The partnership demonstrates stc’s commitment, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, to deliver meaningful digital transformation and build a digital society for all.
Saudi vision cable (SVC)
Saudi vision cable (SVC), it is one of the recent subsea investment aimed to provide access to all subsea cable stations among the Red sea. Also, it will provide a quick subsea access via Haqel to enhance global resilience.
The cable system has been approved by all Saudi authorities as part of the country’s digitalrevolution toward vision 2030. Stc wholesale infrastructure is designed to enable all our partners enrich their global reach.
