Hard Patched Transit services give operators in the countries that neighbor the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia connectivity via stc's cross-border terrestrial network. Transport is provided on stc’s advanced fiber self-healing ring network, which are designed with the latest optical networking equipment for speed and efficiency spanning more than 80,000 km nationwide. This service allows for the provision of transmission capacity for data to neighboring operators and international carriers through stc's domestic backhaul network as well as allowing international carriers to interconnect with stc’s undersea cable landing stations in Jeddah. stc’s terrestrial network is connected internationally through seven border connections, two satellite stations and landing stations in Jeddah with access to major submarine cables.
